As of today, the rules on wearing masks in workplaces introduced just 3 days ago are changing again.
The change results from the new wording of § 25 introduced by the Ordinance of the Council of Ministers of 1 December 2020 on the establishment of certain restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic. Under the amended Ordinance, the employer may decide that the rule of covering the mouth and nose in rooms where one person is present does not apply. The employer’s decision may be communicated in any form to all employees and other persons employed (at least electronically, by e-mail).
Uncovering the mouth and nose in workplaces, regardless of the employer’s decisions, will be possible when eating or drinking on its premises.
