Edyta specializes in competition law, state aid law, public procurement law, and EU funds.
She advises investors, infrastructure owners, and operators, entities providing services of general economic interest (SGEI), including regulated sectors, transport, media, or PPP projects, beneficiaries of EU funds, and entrepreneurs operating in regulated sectors. Edyta assists clients in planning, acquiring, and applying investment support instruments, in transactions including business relocation, encumbrance or transfer of subsidized assets, acquisition of shares, spin-off or downsizing, as well as in restructuring processes. She represents entrepreneurs in proceedings before the European Commission and bodies granting support from public funds (including, among others, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and The National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR)). Edyta regularly represents clients in public procurement matters before, among others, the National Appeal Chamber and audit authorities.
In the area of public procurement law, she has experience in providing comprehensive advice on selecting the most advantageous public procurement procedure for contracting authorities, advising and preparing documentation for contracting authorities, supporting contractors in public procurement procedures, and preparing specialist opinions for contracting authorities and contractors, including on abnormally low prices and bid rigging.
Graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Maria-Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin.
A student of the two-year programme of studies at the British Centre for English and European Legal Studies organised by the University of Cambridge in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She participated in the International Competition Law program within the International Practice Diploma organized by the College of Law in London and the International Bar Association. Master’s degree in Competition Law at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) completed with LL.M. degree.
Since 2004 she has been Your Europe Advice legal expert representing Poland at the European Commission. Since 2011 she has been registered in the list of legal advisors of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw.
Edyta is fluent in English. She also speaks French.
